No way I could pass up a $25 Baby Alive doll that was 75% off . Even if the girl has more dolls than I can count…… Perfect! I thought. Another Christmas present! But Maya is one smart little cookie and there was no forgetting about that doll in all the other items and Target shopping bags as I loaded them in the back back of the car….
While taking the doll out of the box, I asked Maya, “What do you want to name her?” Maya immediately responded, “Her name is Ella.” (She met a friend of mine’s new baby named Ella about 2 weeks ago, and still talks about it.)
Ella.goes.everywhere.Maya.goes….. and Maya gets the biggest kick when the doll calls her “mommy”. Excited face, “She called me ‘Mommy’ ma-mom!”
